Wind Warrior Constance O'Banyon 9781477833155 Books Reviews

  • I just finished reading this book for the second time. The first time was months ago. I still really enjoyed it. Wind Warrior is every girl's dream of a hero, strong, caring, handsome, and compassionate. Marianna was a sweet and kind young girl who turned into a strong and compassionate young woman. I loved how Wind Warrior waited for her to grow up before marrying her and professing his love. A great love story.
  • Really love the concept of the story. The love and respect of two people from different races. There were only two things that were a problem for me. One is that there were some Editing errors and two there was really no need for the explicit sex scenes. The romance between the two leading characters was enough to carry the story.
  • I love American fictional history. This was so beautiful that I gave it 10 stars. The love scene was so loving and warm and beautiful. So tender without graphic words. The author used every word to describe the feelings. One could just feel the heat. It was a wonderful story.
Some Native Americans lived a loving life while others were taught to be warriors. Others were just plain rebels.
  • I have been on a historical kick lately and I really enjoyed this story. I liked the build up to the romance between Wind Warrior & Rain Song. It really made their love more realistic. Most Indian romances I have read the hero is always very harsh to the heroine at first and it was refreshing to see Wind Warrior treat Rain Song from the beginning with nothing but love & respect. I also liked the secondary story lines & characters, especially Rain Song's Mother & her wolf. It had a good amount of drama as well as humors too. I have read a few books by this author and this one is definitely one of my favorites. It had some parts that were difficult to read but I couldn't put this down. I will be reading this beautiful story again.
  • This is an amazing story of the Indian side of village life in our history. I loved this story. Of course, there was some violence toward captives and it was not always appreciated by the leaders of the tribe either. The story of Wind Warrior and Rain Song was excellent and I'm sure I will read this book again. I've read many books by this author and love them. Thanks for a great day of reading.
  • I will admit it has been a while since I was so caught up in this type of book. I seen the authors name Constance O'Banyon and knew I would be caught in a way that I love such endearing characters with stories that won't let you put the book down. Wind Warrior is a wonderfully written story that will have you believing you are there.
  • I have read many of Constance O'Banyon books and this one has turned out to be one of my favorites. The main characters and story line was well developed. I have read this story several times. I was completely enthralled and swept away by Wind Warrior and the depth of his love and commitment to Rain Song. What a great romance with enough twists and turns, action and suspense to keep me interested all the way to the end. I totally recommend this story and this author to anyone who appreciates a great romance and an interesting story.
  • This was my first book by Constance O'Banyon and it is one I will surely read again and again, something I don't typically do. I loved the well developed characters, the overall storyline. My only complaint would be that Rain Song and Spotted Flower's relationship was inexplicably resolved far too easily at the end of the book. I was enthralled and swept away by Wind Warrior and the depth of his love and commitment to Rain Song. Such a fantastic "feel good" romance with lots of twists and turns, action and suspense. Must acknowledge Chinook, as an incredible character that tied everything together. Will be looking for more books by this author!
