- I have to admit that I prefer photos when using cookbooks, because much of why I subscribe to Cooking Light or buy cookbooks is for inspiration, and nothing speaks to your stomach like the gorgeous photos in this book. We bought one for both sets of parents and one for ourselves. Plus has the best price for this one. I gave it 4 stars, because for the price point, I couldn't think of a thing I would change about it. Enjoy!

- I have made several of the stew and soup recipes, and they tasted good. I was hoping the book included slow cooker recipes, but you could probably modify the recipes to suit a slow cooker.
