- The title of this book is perfect for it, because even though it is a rock star romance, it is not like the usual ones that you read. This is rock star vs. Reality Show. Dax is the frontman for an up and coming rock band, that joins a dating reality show to get money and gain exposure for the band. It is their manager's, Kylie's, idea. What happens is really what I think is an accurate portrayal of ehat one of the real reality shows sre like. There is lots of laughter to be had in this book, as well as times, I want to strangle Dax, and even Kylie sometimes. It is a really fun book to read, and I highly recommend it.
- From a former tv addict, specifically reality tv shows, this book was utter perfection, giving me a glimpse at survivor style competitions, as well as the bachelor with a twist all wrapped up in a romcom story that's sure to keep you turning the pages.
I loved the story begind the band name .. MFB aka My Favorite Band.
The reunion show revelation was pure genius.
Dax's struggle could be felt throughout the whole process. I felt bad for him at times always trying to live up to what he thought his bandmates expect of him and what he truly wants; other times I just wanted to throttle him!
#NoBangOath - sometimes intentions and feelings change .. after all, rules were made to be broken. 😉 - What a great book. I love my rockstar romance books and this was yet again another good book. Different then if yet read before. I mean a rockstar not looking for love goes on a reality TV show to pretend to find love or will be actually find it. Sometimes you realize alot more about yourself after taking a good look back at the way you've been. And sometimes it's an eye opener discovering where your heart really does belong. And to have the Vail appearances always makes me happy too. I loved all the characters. I'm hoping for more of MFB too. ⤠What a great book.

I LOVED this book! - Without a doubt, Lisa Suzanne has such a talent. I always light up with excitement when her latest rock star romance hits my kindle. Not Just Another Rock Star Romance is a story that just screams for a 5 star rating. This one was a bit different than her others, but I enjoyed it just as much. Maybe even more, especially with Vail making an appearance. I love my Vail boys!
Dax is the front man for the band MFB and he is pressured by his manager to take part in a dating reality show. Love is the last thing that he is looking for, but he agrees because he feels that it would be good publicity for the band. Not to mention, he has never been able to say no to Kylie. Now I wasn't real sure how I felt about Dax at first. More times than not, I found him to be very frustrating, but there was more to him that meets the eye.
As he goes on these different dates for the show, his thoughts always lead back to Kylie. He just can't seem to shake her from his mind, and ultimately discovers that deep down, he's in love with her. Unfortunately for him, she's off limits due to a no bang oath that he made with his bandmates. Will he be able to stay away from her or will the two of them end up together?
Thank you Lisa for this amazing story! You've outdone yourself once again. This is definitely not a book to be missed. It really captures your attention from the first page to the last with the hot chemistry and great character development. - Another slam dunk for me by Lisa Suzanne. I haven't read Not Just Another Romance yet thus I hadn't read about Dax and how all his past heartache came about but didn't feel like I was lost in any way (although NOW I need to go back and read it "Toute suite"). To say that I wasn't really sure how I felt about Dax at first would be an understatement. Was he JUST your regular rock star aiming to get as much sexy time as he could no matter who it was with? Did hanging with his boys supersede any possible relationship he would have? WHY was he so skittish about relationships? Did he just want Kylie because he couldn't or shouldn't have her? Or was there more depth to the man than we could even see? Dax is ready to hit the road with one of the biggest bands in the world -- our very own VAIL -- and he can see his future as women, music and not much else. A stint on a reality show has the potential to bring him love or paint him as a loser in love. Did the show finally give him what he has always wanted? Someone to love him for himself? Watching Dax finally grow up becomes at times cringeworthy, entertaining and in the end swoonworthy.

- I loved Dax's story. It was entertaing and the characters. Wow. I fell for them quickly and hated others passionately. Lisa Suzanne does terrific writing.
