"I love this author, and I love going along on the adventures that she so vividly describes. But, I found this book/plot, very predictable. I also find it not very credible. Although Jane May
be, mentally and emotionally, years beyond 17, I find it quite “unrealisticâ€, that it was she that designed the plot to catch Aldo. There were times that her character took on the typical 17 year old, and times when it went well beyond her years, making that gap in age and thinking very unrealistic. While I applaud her desire to save Quinn and Eve in the tunnels, I thought the author went overboard in Jane’s desire to save them at any cost;
I mean come on, what 17 year old would not want to save themselves too. I understand totally the relationship between the 3 of them, I just find it unrealistic at times."

After reading, I can't wait to get my hands on the next. They never get old. I just finished a Kendra Michaels and loved it too. I haven't read a Catherine Ling (not sure of last name but close) for awhile. Hope I didn't miss one.
- As usual I'm never disappointed in Eve Duncan series. A lot of twists and turns, mystery and suspense. I will continue reading this series and I recommend it.
- I loved this book as all the rest of Miss Johansen's books.
I can't wait to see what will happen between Jane and Trevor.
The author can make you love or hate the characters it is amazing.
I think everyone would love this book. - Ms Johansen knows how to create drama and excitement. The Eve Duncan series is fantastic and I always await the next book eagerly.
- I have been in love with this book since I first read it.
Jane's character is just beautiful with her love for her family, quick thoughts and determination, and her witty and honest responses to Trevor.
That and with the mixture of historical information of the Mount Vesuvius, the intense paranormal dreams, and interesting characters, makes this truly an awesome read. - As always and as expected the adventures never stop. I read this book several years ago but just had to revisit the story.
- Always thrilling!! Didn't have twists and turns like some of her books but loved some of the history behind it! So what's next.!
